Ohio State 40, Northwestern 30

Jerry Lai-USA TODAY Sports

Northwestern lost another heartbreaker in the fourth quarter because of course they did.

This is really getting old. So Northwestern played well for most of the game, but they couldn't stop Carlos Hyde (who is really good at football). Also Kain Colter looked like he might have gotten a first down on 4th and 1 in OSU territory late in the game, but that might also be the booze talking.

OMG HOLY CRAP THAT WAS A RIDICULOUS LATE COVER WHAT A FINAL KICK IN THE NUTS.

Ok back to the game. Rashad Lawrence had the game of his life. Trever Siemian made some great throws. Kain Colter was good at both QB and receiver (and maybe should have been used more). Venric Mark looked good against a tough defense. But we lost another fourth quarter lead against a good team. We lost another chance to prove ourselves on a national stage. And we're probably going to be underdogs next week at Wisconsin and could be headed to 0-2 in the conference.
