Big Ten games: 8-5-1
Northwestern games: 7-1
Penn State at Iowa (+3.5), Noon, BTN
To borrow a line from sportswriter Warren Brown, I really don't see how either team can win this game. Both come in at 0-4 in the Big Ten. I actually considered picking Iowa briefly, but Penn State has been competitive in 3 of their 4 conference losses while Iowa has been competitive for one half (the first half vs Purdue) in their 4 conference losses. Hopefully Talor Battle can regain his form.
Pick: Penn State
Illinois at Michigan State (-11.5), 2:30, CBS
Both teams come in at 4-0 in Big Ten play, but the bookies aren't sold on Illinois to say the least. Clearly Michigan State is a better team and is playing at home, but 11.5 is a lot to give. Illinois should at least be able to keep this one close.
Pick: Illinois
Wisconsin at Ohio State (-5), 7, BTN
Despite the injury to Jon Leuer and the return of Evan Turner, I'm not picking against Bo Ryan especially getting 5 points. Wisconsin will probably really take the air out of the ball and keep it close by executing in the half court.
Pick: Wisconsin
