NU will hold off until 7:30 central to make their announcement, but, per the Texas Tech athletic site, the TicketCity Bowl berth is official.

See? It's official. Props to everybody who reported this beforehand, and Teddy Greenstein for getting it first. We've been aware that this was probably going to happen for a long time, but now you can book your plane tickets without having to worry about randomly being in Dallas for no apparent reason on New Years'. So, from here on out, we know what's up.
