After a 1-3 weekend, my overall record is inching closer and closer to .500. For most of the season, I seemed like a lock to finish with not only a winning record, but a profitable record including the vig for those who decided to bet with me. Unfortunately, if you had been betting $50 a game with me, you'd now be $20 in the hole. Now I highly doubt there are any readers out there degenerate enough to bet every Big Ten game along with some random blogger who doesn't have a proven track record, but just in case there is I'm going to have to turn it around starting tonight.
Illinois at MIchigan (-2.5), 6 PM central, ESPN
The Fighting Illini badly need this game to solidify an NCAA bid, while Michigan is merely fighting to finish the season with a winning record. Even on the road, I'm taking the more desperate and better team, especially with how well Demetri McCamey has been playing.
Pick: Illinois
Overall record: 37-34-2
