Finally, a win over a solid opponent.
Northwestern made it about as interesting as humanly possible down the stretch, but they overcame both the Illini and the horrendous refs to hold on for a much-needed victory. Juice was (mostly) clutch down the stretch, Crawford and Cobb provided flashes of brilliance, and Luka gave them solid play on the interior.
NU still needs some work closing games out, but I'm not going to complain after a win like this. The NCAA tournament is still a long ways away, but NU isn't drawing dead yet, and for that we can be grateful.
