After a first half in which both teams struggled to find any rhythm, NU came out blazing in the second half, then had to buckle down as BC made a late run. That included both teams surviving huge 4th down failures late in the game.

Kain Colter did a credible job subbing in for the still-rehabbing Dan Persa, demonstrating his expected quick feet, some nice throws and good decision making, aside from a bad INT in the second quarter that led to a BC touchdown. NU's RB by committee had a nice collective performance, and the O-Line also deserves a shout-out for giving Colter decent protection.

Defensively, NU contained BC running back Andre Williams after a game-opening 69-yard run, but the secondary was shaky, as QB Chase Rettig repeatedly found WR Ifeanyi Momah for big gains.

But in the end, NU found a way to win. Your thoughts on the game, in the comments section below.
