After Pat Fitzgerald's press conference today at 11 am, I decided to wander around Jacksonville and take some pictures of the Gator Bowl festivities. The city has gotten a bad rap, but it's actually a pretty nice place to hang out for a day or two. It's on a river and the ocean is just 20 minutes away, while the area around the team hotel has a nice place called the Jacksonville Landing, which is filled with shops and is essentially Jacksonville's version of Chicago's Navy Pier.
If you weren't able to travel down to Jacksonville, check out what NU is experiencing down here, and if you're an NU fan in town for the bowl and haven't gotten a chance to check out the Landing yet, I'd strongly recommend it.
