Do I have to say something? Northwestern took care of business about as expected against an FCS opponent. Venric Mark got to pad his stats with three touchdowns, so that is good. The defense held the shutout well into the second half, so that is good too, I guess.

In other news, the rest of the Big Ten is terrible. Nebraska destroyed their FCS opponent, but Iowa lost to Central Michigan and Michigan State waited until the fourth quarter to turn it on against Eastern Michigan. The rest of the conference has been decidedly mediocre so far today, though Michigan has a chance to score a big win against Notre Dame tonight.

In other other news, the most important thing to happen to NU sports this weekend, a weekend where the football team moved to 4-0 for the third time since 2008, had to do with the basketball team. Yep, FCS games suck.
