JMIII Receives Full Scholarship

From the NUSports website, this link surfaced showing James Montgomery III being called up in front of the full team, being praised for his hard work and perimeter defense, then being rewarded with a full scholarship. Everyone's favorite (former) walk-on then called his mom and sister, who were predictably pretty damn happy. For what it's worth, JMIII averaged .7 ppg, .5 rpg, and .3 spg, appearing most often after injuries forced Drew Crawford to seek a medical redshirt. He reached a high of 15 minutes in a rout at Purdue (that I was at--ugh), and scored a season-high 4 points against Michigan in a 94-66 rout. Congrats, James!
