We're so close. In just over 24 hours, Northwestern will take the field against Ohio State, with the whole country watching to see if the Wildcats can shock the college football world. Bridge the gap between now and then by reading up on the Buckeyes.

USA Today’s Paul Myerberg ranked Ohio State at No. 3 in his countdown of all 125 FBS teams before the season. He predicted the Buckeyes would have a “potential date with Nebraska for the Big Ten title.” Might he rethink that after tomorrow night? (Reminder: he had Northwestern at No. 22.)

Ohio State has won 17 straight games dating back to their 12-0 record last season, but they are shooting for a higher number…and the reason isn’t strictly about winning.
