2014 Ath Solomon Vault Commits To Northwestern

Just two days after revealing Northwestern was his number one school, 2014 athlete Solomon Vault announced his verbal commitment to the Wildcats via Twitter this morning. Vault received an offer this spring took an unofficial visit to Evanston this past weekend. All but two of the schools recruiting him (Rutgers and Northwestern) wanted Vault at running back, including Nebraska, Vault's latest offer. Vault will play slot receiver for the Wildcats.

With five commitments in the books, Northwestern working quickly -- and picking up highly-regarded talent along the way -- to lay a solid foundation for the 2014 class. Vault joins safety Jordan Thomas, Clayton Thorson, outside linebacker Cameron Queiro and defensive tackle Ben Oxley -- a highly-touted group with favorable positional distribution to boot.

Expect a lengthier post on this, as well as a commitment story, within the next couple of days.
