Northwestern is in need of some more talent at wide receiver, and it looks like the Wildcats just got one from Grant Perry of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The three-star prospect announced his commitment via Twitter on Monday.

247 Sports had Perry as a possible Michigan commit, but an offer never came from the Wolverines, and it's unlikely one will soon, given the coaching change there. As of now, Perry has offers from basically the whole MAC (including MAC power Northern Illinois), plus Nevada. He is ranked as the 117th best wide receiver nationally and the 13th best player in the state of Michigan, according to 247.
Perry is NU's 18th commit in the class of 2015, and ranked the 11th best player in the class. He is one of four wide receivers in the class, joining Cameron Green, Charlie Fessler and Jelani Roberts. NU has struggled to get consistent play from its wide receivers, and Pat Fitzgerald noted earlier this year that if nobody steps up, the team will be willing to play younger players if those players prove themselves.
