Twins Andrew and David Dowell have committed to Northwestern. Both Andrew, a running back, and David, an "athlete" who will play cornerback, are rated as 4-star prospects by 247sports. They were offered scholarships by many of the same programs, including Indiana, Illinois, West Virginia and Iowa State. Their commitments bring Northwestern’s 2015 class to five. Three other players committed to Northwestern earlier this week: 3-star linebacker Nathan Fox, linebacker Tommy Vitale and 3-star running back John Moten. It goes without saying that this has been a big recruiting week for NU.
