When Simba Short committed to Northwestern last week, anyone vaguely familiar with Disney’s “The Lion King” was thrilled. How could they not be? There was brilliant photoshop work, Twitter-conveyed frustration and jokes. Lots of jokes. We changed our Facebook background photo! But what most people failed to notice about Short was his artistic talent. Short has a video series on Youtube offering a window into his passion for graffiti. The series is titled “Sim Art” and features Short pretending to be a lawyer, expressing faux-outrage at his mom, rapping and stream-of-consciousness rambling. You can subscribe to SIMARTTV here.
