Chicago area OT Lemke-Bell commits to NU

Northwestern picked up its 11th commitment of the 2015 class on Saturday, with the addition of local offensive tackle Adam Lemke-Bell. Lemke-Bell is a special pickup in that he's the first Chicago area player to commit to the Wildcats this year.

A native of Oak Park, Lemke-Bell is rated as a three-star by 247 and the 247 composite ratings. He's the 21st best player in Illinois and the 93rd best offensive lineman in the nation. He holds offers from Cincinnati, Illinois, Iowa State, Minnesota, NC State, Rutgers and Syracuse, among others, and he visited Northwestern on Friday. That visit, he told 247's Steve Wiltfong, sealed the deal:

"I'm just so honored and humbled to become a part of a great tradition and to have an opportunity to leave a legacy at one of the best schools in the world," Lemke-Bell said.

The addition of Lemke-Bell ranks NU 20th in the newest 247 ratings, just ahead of Arkansas and Florida.
