Northwestern basketball announced its 2014-15 non-conference schedule on Monday, with a road game at Butler highlighting an otherwise snoozer of a slate.

We already knew most of the schedule. We knew the Wildcats were playing at Butler and at home against Georgia Tech in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge, as well as two of the three teams NU was playing in the Cancun Challenge. Then there's the obligatory MAC game (two directional Michigan schools this year!), the next game in the UIC series and the SWAC game. One big surprise: NU is playing AT Brown. Typically, Big Ten schools don't play at Ivy League schools, so that's a strange one.
It's a pretty boring schedule, but it's certainly easier than last year.
The Big Ten conference matchups were announced earlier this year, and while we don't know the full schedule, we now know all the teams NU will play this year:
Non-conference:
vs. Houston Baptist
at Brown
vs. Georgia Tech
at Butler
vs. Mississippi Valley State
2/3 vs. UCF/Virginia Tech/Northern Iowa (in Cancun)
vs. Central Michigan
vs. Western Michigan
vs. Northern Kentucky
vs. UIC
Conference:
Home: Indiana, Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue
Away: Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Rutgers
Home/Away: Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin
Now it's your turn ... what do you think?
