Northwestern has landed its 14th commitment in the class of 2015. Three-star receiver Jelani Roberts told Scout’s Nick Medline Monday night that he has pledged to the Wildcats. The 5-foot-8, 160-pound Baltimore native held offers from Navy, Boston College, Harvard and Yale, among others. Roberts’ represents NU’s second receiver commit of 2015. Earlier Monday, three-star Charlie Fessler also committed.
Unlike Fessler, Roberts is a small receiver with top-end speed. He reportedly ran a 40-yard dash in 4.39 seconds and a 100 meter dash in 10.94. Northwestern's 2015 class is now ranked third in the Big Ten and 21st in the country by 247sports.
