Outgoing Michigan guard Nik Stauskas transformed his body prior to last season. He went on to light up the Big Ten, blow a kiss to Michigan State fans after lacing five threes in a five-point win at the Breslin Center and emerge as a potential lottery pick in the upcoming draft.
What will result from Northwestern forwards Nate Taphorn and Sanjay Lumpkin packing on some muscle this offseason? Probably not, you know, that. But they should be better equipped to handle the physical rigors of Big Ten play this season and beyond.
