In June, we found out that Northwestern is getting rid of its terrible Pac-Man scoreboard at Welsh-Ryan Arena and replacing it with an actual video board. It's 2014, and this is long overdue, but still, we'll miss that old, outdated thing that shouldn't have made it out of the 1970s.
Tuesday was the last day for the old video board, and NU gave it the loving tribute it deserved.
Bravo, NU. Bravo. And RIP, Pac-Man scoreboard. We'll love you forever.
