Pat Fitzgerald got in a day at the ballpark before Big Ten media days commence Monday. Northwestern football's head coach threw out the first pitch at Wrigley Field before the Cubs took on the Cardinals Sunday afternoon.

Since Big Ten football media days run Monday and Tuesday at the Chicago Hilton, lots of national media were in attendance as Fitz led the fans at Wrigley in "Take Me Out to the Ballgame."

Chris Collins took the opportunity to joke with Fitzgerald about his first pitch via Twitter too.
Heard @coachfitz51 was a little wild on the mound today at Wrigley! I will try to work with him for his next appearance!!

It's not the first time Fitzgerald has spent the day at Wrigley. Here's Fitz singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" and chatting with Cubs announcers back in 2012 at the friendly confines.
