Basketball season is closer than you may think. Northwestern will host an open scrimmage at Welsh-Ryan Arena Saturday, Oct. 18, before the football team hosts Nebraska that day.
It will be the first chance for fans to see Welsh-Ryan's new court and videoboards, as well as NU's big freshmen class together on the hardwood.
