Tony Jones at the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl: How to watch, game time, TV, online streaming

The speedster will look to make an impression on NFL scouts.

Caylor Arnold-USA TODAY Sports

Tony Jones struggled at times this year catching the ball, but the 5'11 wideout has the speed and quickness that might earn him a late-round draft selection or at least a tryout with an NFL team. Perhaps Jones will catch the eye of scouts as a returner. Regardless, his next opportunity to show scouts he belongs at the pro level will be at the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl on Saturday at the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif.

Elsewhere Saturday, center Brandon Vitabile will be participating in the East-West Shrine Game. All in all, five Northwestern players will take part in postseason showcase games.

News on Jones out of NFLPA practices has been pretty quiet.

Jones is on the "National" team coached by Mike Martz. Andrew Hendrix of Miami-Ohio, Brandon Bridge of South Alabama, and Jameill Showers of UTEP will be his quarterbacks. He will be matched up against cornerbacks including Troy Hill of national championship runner-up Oregon and Deshazor Everett of Texas A&M, a projected fifth to sixth round pick by nfldraftscout.com.
