Safety Steven Reese commits to Northwestern

Reese is likely the final piece to the class of 2015 puzzle for Pat Fitzgerald.

Steven Reese, a three-star class of 2015 safety from Georgia, has committed to Northwestern, according to a report from Steve Wiltfong of 247 Sports.

Reese was on campus for his official visit this weekend, and apparently committed while in Evanston.

Reese's recruitment was fairly low-key. He only had four other offers -- Virginia, Georgia State, Arkansas State and Miami (OH) -- and only picked up the Virginia offer recently.

Reese is 6-foot-2, 185 pounds, and according to 247 Sports, ran a 4.48-second 40-yard dash. He played both safety and wide receiver in high school.

He is the 20th and likely final player in Pat Fitzgerald's recruiting class of 2015. He is also the third safety in the class, though one of the three, Simba Short, could move to linebacker. Jacob Murray is the other.

Reese and the other members of Northwestern's class will be able to sign their National Letters of Intent on Signing Day, which is Wednesday, Feb. 4.
