Northwestern draft-eligibile players in postseason all-star games: Roundup

There are five draft-eligible Northwestern players who will be playing in showcase games in the coming weeks.

Five Northwestern seniors have been selected to play in and have accepted bids to postseason showcase games. For wide receiver Kyle Prater, center Brandon Vitabile, wide receiver Tony Jones, safety Ibraheim Campbell and linebacker Chi Chi Ariguzo, it is the start of the grueling process that is NFL Draft preparation. It's also one of the only opportunities to catch the players in action during the process:

Kyler Prater

Game: Medal of Honor Bowl
When: Saturday, Jan. 10, 1:30 p.m. CT
Where: Johnson Hagood Stadium, Charleston, S.C.
TV: NBC Sports | Online: NBC Sports Live Extra
Notes: Prater will be playing on the American team, which will be wearing white. The team will be coached by College Football Hall of Famer Willie Jeffries, and Prater's wide receiver coach will be Freddy Brown.

Brandon Vitabile

Game: East-West Shrine Game
When: Saturday, Jan. 17, 3 p.m. CT
Where: Tropicana Field, St. Petersburg, Fla.
TV: NFL Network
Notes: Vitabile will be playing on the West team, which will be coached by former NFL QB, head coach and offensive coordinator Jim Zorn.

Tony Jones

Game: NFLPA Collegiate Bowl
When: Saturday, Jan. 17, 3 p.m. CT
Where: StubHub Center, Carson, Calif.
TV: ESPN2 | Online: WatchESPN
Notes: Former NFL head coach and executive Mike Holmgren will coach the American team, and former NFL head coach Mike Martz, a Super Bowl winner as an offensive coordinator, will coach the National team.

Ibraheim Campbell

Game: Senior Bowl
When: Saturday, Jan. 24, 3 p.m. CT
Where: Ladd-Peebles Stadium, Mobile, Ala.
TV: NFL Network
Notes: Campbell will be playing on the North team alongside 15 other players from the Big Ten. The North team will be coached by Ken Whisenhunt and the Tennessee Titans' staff.

Chi Chi Ariguzo

Nothing has been announced yet, but Ariguzo will apparently play in the College Gridiron Showcase. The rosters should be announced soon.

When: Saturday, Jan. 31, 1:30 p.m. CT
Where: Maverick Stadium, Arlington, Texas
TV: TBA
