Northwestern injury report: Geoff Mogus, Garrett Dickerson out against Minnesota

Caylor Arnold-USA TODAY Sports

Northwestern will be without senior offensive lineman Geoff Mogus and sophomore superback Garrett Dickerson when the Wildcats open Big Ten play against Minnesota on Saturday.

Mogus (upper body) and Dickerson (lower body) were both injured in NU's Week 4 win over Ball State. Mogus had to be carted off, and Dickerson was seen on the sideline in the second half out of uniform.

Also out for the Wildcats are Kyle Queiro, who will miss an extended period of time with a broken arm, and offensive lineamn Adam DePietro, who went down with a knee injury against Eastern Illinois. DePietro is expected back sometime in the coming weeks.

However, there is some good news, as Godwin Igwebuike is not listed. Igwebuike suffered what was assumed to be a concussion last Saturday, but appears to be good to go against Minnesota. With Queiro out, Igwebuike's clean bill of health is huge for Northwestern.

Offensive lineman Matt Frazier is also not listed for the first time this season. Frazier has been out since contracting a staph infection over the summer. It is unclear how much he will play, if at all, in his first game back.

Jared McGee is also healthy for the Wildcats, and will be a second string safety.
