Northwestern releases Week 8 depth chart for Nebraska

Northwestern had a few more shakeups in its two-deep this week, mainly on the offensive line.

Geoff Mogus has slid inside to his original position of left guard and Blake Hance is now listed as the starter at left tackle. Mogus had worked on making the transition from guard to tackle over the offseason, but it appears, at least for now, that Hance has shown enough to protect Clayton Thorson's blindside and allow Mogus to go back to guard. Mogus is listed as the second-stringer at left tackle, and Shane Mertz will now back up Mogus at left guard. This was the starting lineup the Wildcats had against the Hawkeyes, but the first time it has been listed as such on the depth chart.

The shuffling on the left side of the line has pushed Matt Frazier over to right guard. He'll be backed up by Brad North, who takes that spot from Adam DePietro, who has missed the past several weeks due to injury but had remained on the two-deep.

In some more encouraging news, Austin Carr is back on the depth chart after missing the Iowa game with an undisclosed injury.
