Northwestern will be without senior defensive tackle C.J. Robbins when the Wildcats take on Nebraska Saturday in Lincoln.
Robbins, who has started every game so far this season, and was listed as a starter on the depth chart this week, will likely be replaced in the starting lineup by some combination of Greg Kuhar, Max Chapman and Jordan Thompson. His absence could pave the way for Ben Oxley to see more playing time.
Northwestern cornerback Matt Harris also remains out after suffering broken bones in his face two weeks ago against Michigan. Harris will likely be further evaluated during Northwestern's bye week, which follows this Saturday's matchup.
Also out for the Wildcats are offensive lineman Adam DePietro and safety Kyle Queiro. Queiro has been out since breaking his arm against Ball State. DePietro has been out since NU's Week 2 matchup vs. Eastern Illinois. Based on the original timetable, DePietro is expected back soon.
Wide receiver Flynn Nagel not only will miss this week's game, but has been ruled out for the season with a lower leg injury.
