Coming off a 27-0 domination of Minnesota in the Big Ten opener, the Northwestern Wildcats (5-0, 1-0) have moved up to No. 14 in the Week 6 Amway Coaches Poll.
Northwestern moved up three spots from No. 17.
As far as the rest of the Big Ten, Ohio State (5-0, 1-0) stood pat at at No. 1. Michigan State (5-0, 1-0), though, slid down to No. 3 from No. 2 after a tight win over Purdue. Northwestern is followed in the rankings with Michigan (4-1, 1-0) at No. 21. Iowa (5-0, 1-0) entered the Top 25 for the first time this season after a 10-6 win at Wisconsin (3-2, 0-1) at No. 23. The Badgers, thus, slid out of the rankings after reaching at No. 18.
Northwestern travels to Michigan on Saturday for a matchup of two of the top defenses in the country.
