Through five games in 2015, No. 13 Northwestern is not only 5-0 but has also sported five different uniform combinations. From a traditional home look, to an all-white alternate on the road, to the gothic uniforms worn in the Big Ten opener, Under Armour has turned Northwestern into the Oregon of the Midwest.
With the Wildcats' Homecoming game against Iowa looming on Oct. 17, rumors have swirled about the uniforms the program has in store. Last week, this jersey popped up on some websites: (h/t Ethan Cohen)
Now, as the screenshot indicates, the uniform is discontinued.
The program released a video during the Minnesota game teasing new uniforms against Iowa in honor of the 20th anniversary of Northwestern's 1995 Rose Bowl team.

A closer analysis of video and a frame tweeted by WNUR Sports shows a white jersey being filled in with black.

During the Rose Bowl that season, Northwestern sported all-black jerseys with the white Northwestern "N" with a purple Wildcat logo on top of it on the sleeves.
This logo is featured on the jerseys that had been online last week. It also features a commemorative Rose Bowl patch.
While the uniforms for the game against Iowa haven't been confirmed yet, these look to be a pretty cool way of honoring a team that holds so much lore for Northwestern followers.
