Northwestern will be without the services of two key linemen when the team takes to Soldier Field this weekend against the Illinois Fighting Illini, but look to be getting back a starter in the secondary.
Here is the complete injury report:
OL Geoff Mogus-- OUT
DB Kyle Queiro-- OUT
OL Ian Park-- OUT
Should Pat Fitzgerald hold true to his depth chart set on Monday, Brad North will get the start at center. Neither Mogus nor Queiro were listed on the depth chart. Queiro continues to recover from a broken forearm and hopes to be back for the bowl game.
An encouraging sign for Northwestern is that Traveon Henry is not listed on this report. Henry was unlisted on the injury report last week but was a late scratch for unspecified reasons. It had appeared he had hurt his upper body against Purdue the week before. Terrance Brown started in his place, and should Henry be a late scratch again, Brown would likely get the start. Fitzgerald had considered Henry "day-to-day" earlier in the week, but the senior safety appears ready to go for the regular-season finale.
