Northwestern (10-2) moved up to No. 13 in the Week 14 Amway Coaches Poll following the team's 24-14 win over Illinois in the regular season finale Saturday. It is Northwestern's highest ranking of the season, eclipsing its previous high of No. 14 in the Week 6 poll.
The Wildcats jumped over Oklahoma State, Florida, Michigan and Navy this week, but sill sit behind fellow two-loss teams Stanford, Florida State, Notre Dame, TCU and Baylor.
Elsewhere in the Big Ten, Ohio State jumped from No. 8 to No. 6 after pummeling Michigan 42-13 in Ann Arbor. The Wolverines, thus fell from No. 12 to No. 19. Iowa stayed undefeated after edging out Nebraska and stayed at No. 3. Michigan State improved its standing moving from No. 6 up to No. 5 after dismantling Penn State in Happy Valley. Wisconsin re-entered the poll at No. 25.
