Northwestern injury report: Matt Harris, C.J. Robbins both healthy to face Penn State

Jerry Lai-USA TODAY Sports

Neither cornerback Matt Harris nor defensive tackle C.J. Robbins is listed on Northwestern's official injury report for the Wildcats' Week 10 showdown with Penn State.

Both Robbins and Harris missed Northwestern's Week 8 win at Nebraska, but both will return to the lineup after NU's bye.

Harris suffered broken facial bones in NU's 38-0 loss at Michigan on Oct. 10. His return, which Pat Fitzgerald all but confirmed on Monday, provides a big boost for the defense. It will push Keith Watkins back inside, the position in which he is most comfortable. Marcus McShepard will return to a backup role.

Wide receiver Garrett Kidd is the only new name on the injury report. The transfer from Miami, who has played sparingly is out against Penn State, as are offensive lineman Adam DePietro and defensive back Kyle Queiro. DePietro is out for the season.

The Wildcats and Nittany Lions kick off at 11 a.m. CT on Saturday at Ryan Field in Evanston.
