Northwestern (7-2, 3-2 Big Ten) is back into the Coaches Poll after a Week 10 victory over Penn State. The Wildcats came in at No. 24 in the Week 11 rankings, their first time in the top 25 since a Week 7 loss to Iowa.
The Wildcats were the biggest movers in the poll this week, jumping up seven spots from 31st. NU knocked off Penn State (7-3, 4-2) 23-21 Saturday on a late Jack Mitchell field goal.
Northwestern remains the sixth-highest ranked Big Ten team though, two spots behind Wisconsin (22). Also ranked ahead of the Wildcats are Ohio State (1), Iowa (8), Michigan State (14) and Michigan (15). The Spartans fell after losing at Nebraska Saturday night.
