Northwestern looks to close out the non-conference season on a positive note against Loyola (Md.) on Sunday night. The 10-1 Wildcats enter the game as heavy favorites over the 1-9 Greyhounds.
Loyola showcases a balanced scoring attack with five players averaging between 14.2 and 8.2 points per game. As a team, the Greyhounds struggle to score, averaging 71 points per contest. Northwestern averages 80 per contest, but Northwestern is coming off its highest scoring game in decades after a 103-point outburst against Sacred Heart.
The Wildcats are on an eight-game win streak since losing to North Carolina on Nov. 23. The team is also outscoring its opponents by over 21 points per game in that stretch.
