Collins said he thought Illinois played as well as they have this season, "They were just firing on all cylinders. And sometimes that happens."
Collins credited how Illinois attacked their zone, but he said he was just impressed with their physicality on the other side of the ball. "They really knocked us back with their defense."
"I thought we were a step slow," Collins said. He mentioned rotations, cuts, movement and active hands as all being slower than usual.
On if Illinois was prepared for the zone, "I thought Indiana was prepared. I thought Penn State was prepared.... It's kind of a test of wills."
