Northwestern didn't take long to fill the open scholarship left by de-commit Grant Perry. The Wildcats nabbed 3-star wide receiver Flynn Nagel, a Duke commit from Lemont, Illinois.
Nagel's two older brothers played at Northwestern, and Flynn intended on becoming a Wildcat as well, according to 247sports. But Pat Fitzgerald's 2015 class was full until Perry de-committed.
After long talks and many prayers, I am ECSTATIC TO BE STAYING HOME TO ATTEND NU!! Playing in CHICAGO is a DREAM come true! #GoCats #Family— Flynn Nagel (@All_I_DoIsFLYNN) February 3, 2015
Nagel also held offers from Cincinnati, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa State, Northern Illinois and Purdue, among others. The 5-foot-10, 190 pound wideout has a composite score of .8640 on 247sports and ranks as the 66th best receiver in the class of 2015.
