Quarterback Deuce Wallace commits to Northwestern

Deuce Wallace, a three-star class of 2016 quarterback from Tennessee, has committed to Northwestern. Wallace tweeted the announcement Saturday.

Wallace was on an unofficial visit this weekend, and committed on the visit. He is Northwestern's first class of 2016 verbal commit.

Wallace had other offers from Vanderbilt and Wake Forest, as well as other non-power five schools. NU had offered back in December. Other power five schools had shown interest, including Arizona State, Duke, LSU, Mississippi State and Tennessee, but none had offered.
