2016 QB Deuce Wallace decommits from Northwestern, flips to Vanderbilt

The first Northwestern commit from the class of 2016, quarterback Deuce Wallace, decommitted from the Wildcats on Sunday night, flipping to Vanderbilt.

He also released a short note addressing his decommitment, in which the Tennessee native called Vanderbilt his "dream school."

Wallace, a three-star pro-style QB , originally picked Northwestern during his visit to Evanston on March 14.

The Wildcats currently have offers out to two other quarterbacks, both dual-threat prospects, according to 247 Sports. Anthony Brown is a four-star prospect from New Jersey with offers from Syracuse, Wake Forest and Boston College, along with Northwestern. There's also three-star Joshua Jackson of Michigan, who also holds offers from Utah, West Virginia, Syracuse and Boston College.
