Northwestern picked up a commitment on Saturday from three-star offensive guard Cameron Kolwich. Kolwich announced his commitment on Twitter:

Kolwich becomes the fourth member of NU's class of 2016, and he's arguably the best of the bunch. He held offers from Michigan, Arkansas and Illinois, among others, and he's a big body, at 6-foot-5, 270 pounds. He's ranked as the 446th-best player in the class of 2016, according to 247, and the Wildcats may have pulled off a coup to get him, as all of 247's experts predicted that he would go to Michigan, especially since he's from in-state. With a composite rating of 87, he's the highest-rated recruit in NU's 2016 class.
Things can change, but Northwestern needs help on the offensive line, and it's always good to get more players with legit power conference offers. It's also important to note that this is yet another player who chose NU over Illinois. Check out his highlights below.
