Bowl projection roundup: Not much change after Week 2

Northwestern is now 2-0. And while the 41-0 stomping of Eastern Illinois didn't tell us much about this Wildcats team, it was another win. Northwestern is now just four wins away from bowl eligibility, a far cry from where it was last year at this time, and it should be just three wins away by the time conference season rolls around.

It doesn't seem as if many Wildcats fans are looking too far into the future. But members of the national media always do just that. Bowl projections are a weekly exercise, even after Week 2 (and even after Week 1).
