VIDEO: Big Ten Network promo features Pat Fitzgerald... AND CATS

The Big Ten Network recently released some promotional videos for the coming season, and in fact, there are fourteen of them, one for each of the conference's teams*. They are short, 15 seconds in length. And on the Northwestern video...

OH MY GOD CATS:

Yes, that is Pat Fitzgerald. He is trying to stare into your soul. And yes, behind him, those are real, live cats squirming around. The punchline is amazing:

Now, let's dig a little bit deeper. First, we get shots of cats...

And then... more cats. These cats look legitimately afraid of Fitzgerald's death stare:

Now, a little analysis. What the heck makes these cats so afraid of Fitz!?!? The whole point is that he's a cat person, but those poor things look like they're trying to hide behind a third cat! And that third cat is trying to avoid glancing at Fitz at all costs. What did Fitz do to these cats!?!? CONTROVERSY.

Anyway... MORE CATS:

AND THEY'RE STILL SCARED. The one to the right legitimately looks like it fears for its life.
