At Big Ten Media Days last month, Pat Fitzgerald came up with a novel idea. Instead of directing contempt at players, the Northwestern head coach would rather take all the scorn from fans on social media. He suggested that Northwestern fans, followers or those who just happen to flip on the game use the hashtags #WTFitz or #DoThisFitz on social media to illustrate their befuddlement with Fitzgerald's decisions or the team's play.
At Inside NU, we're going to do just that.
Whenever you think Northwestern made a questionable or poor decision or play, tweet out your frustration using #WTFitz and we will compile them, comment on them and maybe even ask Fitzgerald about them after the game.
This is a revolutionary way to watch Northwestern football, and a nice psychological tonic for whatever may happen on the field today.
