Three days removed from a 94-63 trouncing of Mississippi Valley State, Northwestern (1-0) is back in action at Welsh-Ryan Arena on Monday night against the Eastern Washington Eagles (1-0) in the first leg of the Legends Classic. The Wildcats will continue the tournament next Monday against the Texas Longhorns at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
The Delta Devils didn't put up much of a fight on Friday, going down 46-28 at halftime in a game that was never in doubt. Vic Law posted a career-high 18 points for the Wildcats, who had five players reach double digits. Scoring should be easy yet again for Northwestern, as Eastern Washington was among the worst teams in the country in terms of adjusted defense (per KenPom) last season.
Follow along with us below as Northwestern looks to remain undefeated on the young season. The game, starting at 8:00 PM, will be televised on BTN.
