Trevor Siemian takes center stage again tonight as his Denver Broncos head west to take on the Oakland Raiders at the Oakland Coliseum.
Siemian is no stranger to primetime. He got his first career start on Sunday Night Football (when he beat the Panthers) and has since also made appearances on Thursday Night Football (a loss to the Chargers) and Monday Night Football (a win over the Texans).
Siemian was upgraded to captain this week and hopes to lead his Broncos (6-2) over a Raiders team (6-2) that has been very impressive so far this year. The game features two of the best young quarterbacks in the league in Siemian and Derek Carr (yes, I just called Trevor Siemian one of the best young quarterbacks in the league). Both teams compete in the AFC West, which has emerged as the best conference in pro football this year. The Kansas City Chiefs are also 6-2, making for a three-way tie at the top.
