Today, he's an AP All-America (3rd Team). https://t.co/wzQmbpxfl7
Carr had easily his most productive season as a Wildcat in 2016, racking up 84 receptions, 1,196 yards and 12 touchdowns in 12 games. He was an instrumental part of one of the more explosive Northwestern passing attacks in recent memory.
Carr’s 12 touchdowns in 2016 tied D’Wayne Bates for the Northwestern single-season record.
For Carr, this announcement comes on the heels of being named second team All-American by Sports Illustrated, bringing home first team All-Big Ten honors, finishing as a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award and taking home the Richter-Howard Award after leading the Big Ten in receptions, yards and touchdowns.
Carr is joined on the third team by Big Ten compatriots Saquon Barkley (running back) from Penn State and Nathan Gerry (safety) from Nebraska.
