Bowl season is upon us!
We’ve made it through that dark time between championship weekend and bowls, and the most wonderful time of the year kicks off with five intriguing matchups.
The most enticing matchup features the Houston Cougars and the San Diego State Aztecs in the Las Vegas Bowl. Houston quarterback Greg Ward is a ton of fun to watch, and the Cougars can put up points in bunches. But San Diego State boasts running back Donnel Pumphrey, who is just 107 yards shy of Ron Dayne’s FBS career rushing record. It’ll be a lovely precursor for Northwestern basketball’s guaranteed win matchup versus Dayton.
