Northwestern, which lost 71-63 on Tuesday night in Columbus to Ohio State, is back in Evanston tonight to host the Illinois Fighting Illini (11-13 overall, 3-8 Big Ten).
The Wildcats (16-9, 4-8) allowed the Buckeyes to go on a 15-2 run late in the second half to erase a lead, which Northwestern held for much of the game, and, down the stretch, Ohio State was just too much offensively for Chris Collins' team. All five Buckeyes starters scored in double figures while Tre Demps and Bryant McIntosh led the way for Northwestern with 14 points apiece. This is the first and only meeting between the Wildcats and Fighting Illini this season.
The game, slated to start at 7 p.m. CT, will be aired on the Big Ten Network. Further broadcast information can be found here. Also, more pregame reading can be found in our game preview. As always, you can follow along with the action in the comments below.
