Northwestern-Minnesota Gamethread

Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

Northwestern, losers of five-straight including a run of four Top 25 opponents in a row, hosts Minnesota on Thursday night in a battle of two teams looking to end lengthy losing skids. The Gophers (6-16) have lost 11-straight games dating back to late December and are winless (0-10) in Big Ten play. Despite the team's struggles so far in conference, Richard Pitino's squad has lost its past five by an average of just 5.4 points per contest. The Wildcats (15-8, 3-7 Big Ten), though, haven't been as competitive with recent opponents, with a nine-point home loss to Penn State being the closest Northwestern has gotten to a win in almost three weeks.

The game, slated to start at 8 p.m. CT, will be aired on the Big Ten Network. Further broadcast information can be found here. Also, more pregame reading can be found in our in-depth game preview. As always, you can follow along with the action in the comments below.
