Northwestern-Ohio State GameThread

Caylor Arnold-USA TODAY Sports

Northwestern, which is coming off a much-needed 82-58 win over Minnesota last Thursday, is in Columbus tonight to take on the Ohio State Buckeyes (14-10 overall, 6-5 Big Ten) in a vital game for both teams. The Wildcats (16-8, 4-7), who were riding a five-game losing streak prior to knocking off the Golden Gophers, lost to the Buckeyes in Evanston back on January 6, 65-56. In that game, Ohio State reserve guard Kam Williams scored 21 points off the bench to lead Thad Matta's team, which has lost its last two games. In defeats against Maryland and Wisconsin, the Buckeyes fell behind early and couldn't play well enough in the second half to come back.

The game, slated to start at 7 p.m. CT, will be aired on the Big Ten Network. Further broadcast information can be found here. Also, more pregame reading can be found in our game preview. As always, you can follow along with the action in the comments below.
