Four days ago, Northwestern reached historic heights by winning its 20th regular season game for the first time in program history. The Wildcats also ended the regular season on a three-game winning streak, another first for the program.
But that's all in the rearview mirror. The slate's been wiped clean for the postseason, which Northwestern begins against the Michigan Wolverines, a familiar foe that beat the Wildcats in Ann Arbor just a few weeks back.
Here's all the pregame information you need to get ready for the matchup:
- Our weekly Pound The Talk episode reviewed Northwestern's regular season and previewed the Big Ten Tournament.
- Northwestern's right on the bubble... of the NIT. Ben Goren broke down what Northwestern has to do in Indy to make the field of 32.
- KenPom gave Northwestern just a 0.4 percent chance of winning the Big Ten Tournament...
- But Josh Rosenblat mapped out how the Wildcats can do just that. Rosenblat also previewed the matchup with the Wolverines.
Here's the bracket for the entire tournament. Northwestern-Michigan is the first game of the day and will be followed by Illinois-Iowa. Later tonight, Penn State plays Ohio State and Nebraska takes on Wisconsin.
